The Artist

Linda Rasmussen, a world traveler, artist, and advanced travel consultant, has explored 94 countries over the past 40+ years. She now owns her own travel business where she curates exclusive international trips that blend adventure, art, and culture into unforgettable experiences.

My paintings are created using palette knives and acrylics, which bring rich texture and a sense of movement to each piece. This technique complements my modern impressionistic style, capturing emotion and energy through bold strokes and layered color.

Raised in Phoenix Arizona, Linda studied interior design and business at Brigham Young University, before her path led her to a lifelong passion for travel and art. She spent 25 years living along the beaches of San Diego and Hawaii, where the oceans rythm, vibrant coastal culture and natural beauty shaped both her artistic style and her outlook on life--one she describes as rooted in an aloha attitude of warmth, and happiness.

Deeply inspired by her late mentor, the talented watercolor/oil painter, Keith Faye, Linda fondly recalls weekly visits to his Train Gallery in Wyoming—always bringing him his favorite huckleberry taffy. Together, they shared a love for the Tetons, and his magical watercolor and oil paintings continue to influence her creative journey.
